Dear Lauret–thank you for letting me know this news. I’m so glad to hear you’ve had support for this Chesapeake Bay project–and so eager to read what you write about it. My own work is taking a different track, more along the lines of building community among other settler-descendants to reckon with and write about our ancestral role in colonization/enslavement. There’s lots going on–at last. I’ve also started a Substack newsletter called Resilience in Troubled Times where I can’t help talking about all of this–https://louisedunlap1.substack.com/p/resilience-in-troubled-times. It is so good to know you are still out there doing your wonderful work!!! –Louise
